What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why is it important for every marketer online make one?

It's a strategy for marketing that you employ to persuade potential customers to buy your products. It is a process of selling that involves a person visiting your website to look up the information they need to help them solve their issue. However, via specific tools, you can learn how to build an ongoing relationship with every person who visits your blog.

This will allow you to better be aware of the needs of each user. This in turn will push you to provide the best possible information for all users. If you can gain trust from a visitor they're more likely to buy your products. The customer will then turn into a customer.

Many customers become regular customers, and are more likely to purchase every product on your website. The marketing funnel is a compilation of all the steps involved in converting visitors to customer who will buy anything you offer.

For every internet marketing professional that is their ultimate objective. A properly created funnel can accomplish this quickly.

You've got the marketing tools to grab people's interest and draw them into the funnel. After they have completed the form on your PERSONAL lead capture page they'll be entered into the funnel. I use the word "personal" because nobody is going to opt in on your business lead capture page. They are looking to become a leader, not a business.

The page for lead capture serves as the entry point into the funnel. Clicking the "Sign up Now" and "Enter Here" buttons will allow you to enter an entirely new world of network marketing.

They are getting ready for it and that is the most effective thing. It's their choice. You've not sold them anything, except that you are an instructor, leader and someone who will show them how to increase leads and more money into their business.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

The "front-end", you can make a promotional offer that will attract and qualify prospective customers who may be interested in buying your product further down the sales funnel. To get access to the free product, people must sign up (also known as opt-in) and give their email address and their name which in turn are added to your list of email subscribers.

Now, you have these contacts in your email list and you are able to send them related promotions that may be of interest to them.

After sign-up for the free offer you'll be directed to a page with a low price offer, also called a trip wire offer. This is when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of the funnel.

If they purchase the bargain deal, they will be added to another similar offer for a higher price (normally known as an "upsell"). And if the person also purchases the higher-priced offer, they will again be transferred to the next product at an even higher cost. The list could go on and on...
